720p HD Free Form Immersive Optical Engine
Based upon the 720p HD LCoS microdisplay this Free Form Immersive Optical Engine allows a quick implementation of a customer solution. It comes in either a monocular or a binocular version. The kit contains one, respectively two 720p HD LCoS panel(s), the housing with the optics, the LED light source(s) and the LED driver board. A user can connect their own panel driver board to the engine and will get very fast an own solution for a full 720p HD immersive monocular or binocular system for showing 2D or 3D content or for any Virtual Reality application.
Compared to aspheric lenses free-form lenses are optimized designs to overcome optical aberrations and mechanical limitations of traditional surfacing. All lenses designed with digital free-form technology are effectively “optimized” because they are precisely generated.
