1080p LCoS Full HD Panel
For even higher resolution and higher brightness DMD is offering a 1080p LCoS Full HD Panel. This panel comes in a very compact 0.37" format, consumes typical 360mW and can be driven from a single 3.3V respectively 3.8V source. The multi resolution LCoS controller accepts up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) resolution and can process video information by any of the following video formats: 24-bit RGB, YCbCr 422 or 444, MIPI and LVDS.
To enable customers a very fast time to market Dresden Microdisplay will also for this LCoS panel in the future offer optical modules (housing with microdisplay, lenses, LEDs and drivers) as well as fully developed binocular and monocular electronic modules containing the microdisplays, the optic as well as all the needed driving electronics to process an HDMI signal for presentation by the LCoS panels. As of today interested customer can order a development kit, similar to the one for the 720p panel, but without the optical engine.
